Vince and Denym have worked side by side for over a decade, co-founding Akuety in 2019. With personal lived experience of disability and a shared passion for creating meaningful change, they've dedicated their careers to building technology that serves the sector — and the people within it.
With over 20+ years of experience in software development, working across a wide variety of industries. For the last 15+ years, he's been primarily focused and passionate about the disability and social welfare space, using technology to drive real innovation and positive change. He loves what he does and thrives on pushing boundaries, always challenging himself and his team to think differently and achieve the extraordinary. When he's not immersed in tech, he's a proud dad, a loving husband, Fortnite player and — in his own words — a pretty good guy too.
With over 20+ years of experience in the disability and community sectors, Denym has worked across a range of roles, from frontline support worker to director-level leadership. His deep operational insight led him to consulting, where he identified a critical need: a software solution designed with the customer experience at its core. A proud Dad of two, Denym values time as the most precious resource, and he's made it his mission to help others reclaim it. He's passionate about turning complex workflows into intuitive tools, and regularly shares his insights as a dynamic public speaker and podcast host.
